Qi Lan cultivar was brought from Southern Fujian and widely planted in Wu Yi Mountain region since 1990s. With the advantage of tea making experience that tea makers gained from making Oolong tea, it has become one of well-known tea cultivars. This tea is medium- fermented and light/medium-roasted. The infusion tastes rich, fresh and makes the entire mouth salivate. After drinking, a fragrant aroma of orchids leads a long and persistent finish.
